Kayla grew up in Ottawa and spent most of her life studying and working here, receiving two degrees from Carleton University – a Bachelor of Humanities and a Master of Arts in International Affairs – and working for the federal government. In 2014, Kayla took the leap and began her career in real estate, ultimately leaving the public service to pursue her passion for helping people achieve their personal and financial goals through real estate!
In the years that followed, Kayla has helped hundreds of individuals and families buy and sell real estate in Ottawa. Whether you are looking to buy a beautiful home to grow your family, selling a condo quickly to begin an adventure abroad, or growing a portfolio of investment properties to achieve financial independence, whatever your real estate ambition, Kayla is the one to make it happen!
Outside of her professional endeavours, Kayla loves spending time with her wife Stephanie and dog Magic and is passionate about being active and spending time outside. In the summer this means playing a lot of beach volleyball, sailing and cycling and in the winter you can find her snowboarding on a local ski hill… As long as it’s not too cold!
Buying a home can be very challenging, with bidding wars & bully offers. I spend time inspecting lots of homes to find the perfect fit. I use the best mortgage brokers and home inspectors to make sure it’s affordable and passes a stringent assessment of all the major components of the home.
I provide a complimentary detailed home evaluation which will help you determine the value of your home, the right time to sell, as well as the appreciation trends in your neighbourhood. Even if you’re not considering selling your home today, an annual home evaluation is important in understanding your most valuable financial asset.
